Cost model
Direct total = adult direct tickets + child direct tickets + the whole group's transport subtotal. Package total = adult package prices + child package prices. The tool shows the difference but does not claim the cheaper option is better.
What the tool does not know
It does not query live availability, rail disruption, traffic, accessibility requirements, dynamic fares or checkout inventory. It stores no form values and sends no calculator inputs to analytics.
